Ghazal Nights - Rooh Ki Tahreer

Rooh ki Tahreed - the Ghazal program is held once a year with a traditional setup - just a harmonium, sarangi and tabla as accompaniments. The ghazals (non-film based) while being melodious are great compositions and just listening to the poetry written by great poets like Nida Fasli Saab are a treat to the ears.

The academy has a deep focus on this genre and the core faculty have not only performed several programs across the country but have composed some beautiful ghazals as well.
